CASE FNV HORECABONDRENEWED, BETTER OVERVIEW

The websites of FNV Horecabond, including FNV Horeca, FNV Catering and FNV Recreation, needed to be renewed. To a completely new online look actually. Over the years, the website has grown and expanded, while behind it, different systems communicated inefficiently. We have redesigned the backend and cleaned the content together with FNV. While there is about 60% less content left, nothing of the relevant content has been lost. The front end got a completely make over with elements that increase the interaction. Everything has become more user friendly and more clear. People now find much faster what they are looking for.

SEARCH ENGINEINTELLIGENT QUESTIONS

The homepage now shows a prominent smart self-learning search bar that recognises questions and search terms while users type them. The FNV itself can create, edit and modify the answers via their CMS. Precisely that combination, inout from users searches and the audit of answers by FNV, makes this search bar to get better and stronger over time.

SECURITY AND PRIVACYFORMS AND FILES

Forms are an important and indispensable part for the FNV to interact. It’s being used a lot to subscribe and register. The legal cases which members submit through the website are added to the members legal file. Security and privacy were most important related to development. That's why we divided the four-step form and developed a secure connection between the different backend systems in which the information is stored.

And of course you can fill out the forms on all devices as easily.

We developed 25 different widgets that are customisable and can be turned on/off by FNV itself. For example, in the right hand column of the site all kinds of short news items, messages, polls and downloads appear.

Whether users are behind a desktop, laptop, tablet or on their smartphone, the website looks and works optimally. The same goes for the secured part behind the login where members can see their personal details and files.

HOSPITALITY, CATERING AND RECREATIONDIFFERENT IDENTICAL

The design has been implemented into the websites of all three sectors: Hospitality, Catering and Recreation. People recognize their own sector simply by the color scheme. Besides the logo and content, the websites are further identical.

The site of the umbrella organisation also has the same design and identical features. Thus, the entire organisation received a uniform corporate style and appearance.
